This is the most stunningly beautiful piece of music I've heard in awhile. (My tears flow when I hear it.)
I would hope that our various choral societies would include it in their regular repertoire.
Too bad about the sound quality. There are several other versions on YouTube, I am noting, but this is the original performance, and so should claim pride of place.
The composer apparently is the wife of the choral director. All kudos to her for such a magnificent conception!
What a great memory to see Dr Jennings conducting here. As a longtime follower of the St Olaf Choir, this is a rare gift. Thanks for posting. What year was this?

This was in 1989, right at the end of Dr Jennings' tenure as director of the St Olaf Choir.
