With all sides heading towards a final agreement on a peace plan, it's the people of South Ossetia that have borne the brunt of the conflict in Georgia. More than 2000 people killed, many more wounded and thousands forced to flee their homes -- that is the result of five days of fierce fighting in South Ossetia.

It is good to see and hear that not all Americans believe what they are told in their own media. Russia is not a bad nation and did not start this trouble. The British people are fed up if being dragged into wars. We have economic problems here and our money needs to be spent on these. Russia warned there would be more trouble after Kosovo and it was right and it wasn't Russia that started it!
