Saw them live a couple of times 77/78/I think i'm in saying they had to repeat songs for encore through lack of material!

why can no-one pull their songs off live anymore? Arcade fire, the most celebrated band of the 00s, are nowhere near as tight as this live.

@thebert03 Rita Coolidge and Kris Kistofferson's performance on Whistle was considered a landmark in intimate live music back in the 70s. The song was "Help Me Make it Through the Night" (it's on You Tube).

Saw them half a dozen times in '77-'78, an INCREDIBLY tight band. WAYYY ahead of their time.
