  • Hi!

I really love what you're doing here. You give off GREAT analysis about potential things to come by and that's what new players (like me) really need. Build orders can only do so much; proper response to your opponents win you games, whether you did it intentionally or luckily (like me again :P)

  • I really liked how you went through scouting information and the logic behind the assumtions you made. ie. Probably going to be speedlings, because no lair/bannling nest. Its really useful for players like myself who are just starting out, and are still working out which stratagies to use in which situations.

  • @MrRyanosaurus I would like to add that this video was fantastic! I only meant to say that getting carried away with thor production (even with helions) is commonly a blunder i see in many new players. A few are great, more than 2-3 seems inefficient, plus they are too slowwww.

  • @Dvirankis False. Turrets at mineral line are good in a crucial case because they are stationary, take no supply, and are a lot stronger than 75 minerals of units.

1: Terran pushes with his army.

2: Zerg sees this and counter attacks with mutas.

3: Not enough units are left to defend entire base

(or Turrets stall enough for forces left behind to defend.)

4: Mutas having done damage are fast enough to get back to base to fight off Terran attack.

(With turrets the mutas would deal minimal damage)

  • Problems with this example:

    1) This zerg did not efficiently scout (crucial for all zerg).

    2) Z had no units. Of course the push won.

    3) Z pursued 2 tech trees and so was easily out macroed.

-Going pure muta, magic box would have taken thors (even ricochet would take scvs out)

-Going pure roach is my counter for Thors and would have a good chance in this with the addition of focus fire

Personally I rarely recommend more than a couple thors ever..

    Stim-Marines and medivacs. Missle turrets.

  • lol im 1v1 bronz, 2v2 silver, 3v3 platinum. what?????

  • @Danielion55 turrets are mainly defensive as they can't move.. as zerg normally doesn't go a lot with invisible units no turret are needed and wasting engineer bay and turret minerals is not really good as you will need those minerals.

  • @Danielion55 Because if the Zerg brings Mutalisks with his ground army, then he has no response to the Mutalisks if he only had Hellions.

  • Why won't you build a engineering bay and build some missile turrets?

  • if he added banelings to the army too, maybe blue flame + 1 /1 mech upgrade is enough or need some marauders/ tanks ?

  • @Randja066

then you wont use this build ? hurpdiburp
