Will is shocked when he's told that his colleague Emma has died while on holiday. He's even more surprised when he sees her walking past the window of the cafe in which he's sitting the next day Sarah-Jane Potts ("Kinky Boots") stars in a tale of missed opportunities.

  • Where was this filmed?

  • @vocazone We filmed in Cafe Arlington on Southwark Bridge Road, London. I'm not sure if it's still there; if it is, it's changed it's name.

  • have you used royalty free music? or this something that was made for you? x

  • The music was written for the film by our lovely composer, Deborah Mollison.

  • I think the line at the end was supposed to be the moral of thee entire thing. The waitress said"just ask if you want something". And he never had the chance to ask Emma out

  • Well done for spotting that, very few people do!

  • Great short film. I agree about the waitresses line about asking if you want something and the thoughtful look he gets as she walks away.

  • Nice film. <3 Sarah-Jane Potts.

  • The girl that plays Emma, didn't she also appear in that channel 4 show Sugar Rush a few years back?

  • @guyducker Thanks alot! :-) And great work by the way ;-)

  • I just finished watching this film on on the PBS program "imagemakers" there are many films that take a lot longer to get that message across and without the subtlety of this piece. I could say more but others already have.

    Very good film thanks :)

  • Is the bus part of the story or is it fairly irrelevant? Just curious

  • Good idea, saw it coming a mile off though
