  • thanks for all the comments y'all! i've worked on the sketch a bit more, but haven't gotten any further with it. i'll be sure to post again when i do.

oh and i meant to mention that i'm filming this little vlogs with my iphone, so the quality won't be what you're used to seeing from me, but it will allow me to post more often than i have been since i don't have to get the whole tripod shebang set up just to shoot a short vid. :)

  • I see a sleeping polar bear (mainly the head and one front leg and paw under his chin) up next to her head around the 1:28 mark. ... okay... had to post that! I sooo love pulled art! (And I see a bird with that eye at 3:46 when the canvas is turned!)

  • Very well.

  • Beautiful

  • Paulette, I have also heard this called "intuitive" painting and think that describes it so well...you intuitively put the background on and the face/images just appear out of your intuitition. Glad to see your muse has returned. Hugs, Carol

  • I love it and can almost see her hair blowing in the wind to her left or our right. :)

  • cool!

  • love it!!

  • beautiful!!

  • I've been painting this way too (but Mystele was my inspiration...never had tried it before I saw her several months ago). Looks great! Hard to get things going when you have little ones. My youngest is 2 and he's BUSY BUSY BUSY which pulls me away from the studio. Can't wait to see more of this one as it evolves!
