GUNFIGHTER'S MOON" 1996 Cabin Fever Entertainment (PG-13)
Director:Larry Ferguson (Frank Morgan)
Writer (WGA):Larry Ferguson (written by)
Gunfighter's Moon is one of the latest entries in the classic western plot of the master gunfighter as the loner and outsider that is reviled by the community until his unique skills are needed to save the town. Lance Henrickson plays Frank Morgan, a notorious and feared gunfighter that has lived his life on the run. His face and eyes reveal a man that has been very much hardened by that life. We quickly learn, however, that there is still passion inside. Upon receiving a telegram from Linda, an old lover (played by Kay Lenz), requesting his presence, he abandons his woman, mounts his horse and rides to Linda without giving it a second thought. Upon arrival, he learns that Linda is now happily married to the owner of the local general store..... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113238/plotsummary
Screw Javier Bardem as The Gunslinger. Since I first started those Dark Tower books in the late 80's, I've always, always, pictured Roland Deschain as Lance Henriksen.
