If your vehicle is ever missing, stolen, or being used inappropriately, as an optional feature SkyGuard can locate it and disable it remotely (starter is disabled once key is removed from ignition). The vehicle can then be quickly and safely recovered. The SkyGuard Defense unit is installed in your vehicle. If the vehicle is found to be missing, or has been moved without authorization, simply file a police report and call the SkyGuard Customer Service Center. The center will immediately locate the vehicle and notify local police. SkyGuard Defense uses advanced Global Positioning Satellite and cellular technology that operates nationwide. It is not necessary for local law enforcement to have tracking units installed in their squad cars for SkyGuard Defense to locate your vehicle.
