@sweetmossi the Pirelli was TUNED. It had same amount of HP (310), was significantly lighter than 335i and had DSG. The outcome wasn't surprizing at all.

Do you realize that the Pirelli was TUNED? It has same amount of HP, was significantly lighter than 335i and had DSG. Not difficult to use some logic and realize that the outcome wasn't surprizing at all.

look at the gear shifting of BMW he shift to early that not real race, i use to beat gti pirelli with E30 325i light modified

I am the driver of bmw and I shifted perfectly fine.

This Pirelli weighed almost 200 kg less than the beemer, had almost the same power and DSG. I do believe the bmw did very well keeping in mind those factors.

On a stage 2 tune for the FSI engine like this GTI was on, it should do about 270whp, 290tq. Definitely possible to take a stock 335i considering it's a fat bottomed bitch. GTI with driver can be 600lbs less.
