This year the New York Asian Film Festival says "fiddle dee dee" to the economic apocalypse and we're singing in the rain of fire and brimstone that heralds the end of the world. It's our biggest, most ridiculous festival ever!
The festival runs from June 19th to July 5th, and this year we're screening a record-setting 50+ titles! Keep your eyes on http://www.subwaycinema.com for more news and details. The updated website should launch after June 5th, and tickets will be on sale soon after that. Check http://www.ifccenter.com/ and http://www.japansociety.org/ for tickets.
In the meantime, keep watching http://www.subwaycinemanews.com for new updates, and keep your eyes on this YouTube Channel for regualr video updates from the festival this year!

One thing I hate is that when people think Asian Film it has to have so much violence and blood. most of the Asian movies I watch are just like America ones, except with more emotion.

Awesome trailer guys!
Ip Man & Love Exposure are a must see! I've seen them both and they are amazing!! Warlords, Rough Cut and An Empress & The Warriors are pretty darn good too. Haven't seen most of the rest, but it certainly looks like another sick year at the NYAFF!
