wtf its moving!?

mmmm ive always wanted to try fugu but i rather not to risky but iys very rare for a person to die eating prepared fugu and if an incident like this did happen its almost always because an unexperinced chef did it but maybe one day i might try it

@Estellmaria the chef cuts the fish apart quickly. so the muscles keep moving because it "thinks" its still alive. they cut off the brain cords so quickly that the brain didnt have time to send signals to the rest of the body that its dead. so it keeps moving.

@DFKZakku Anti-toxin is expensive to produce and kills sheep, cows in the process.

@Estellmaria Involuntary Muscles....

@Estellmaria Didn't you know? Tetrodotoxin is the zombie-making chemical. They are not dead, yet also not alive. They are undead?
-
i dont understand. HOW is it still moving????
-
man i sure hope some scientists find a way to cure the toxin, maybe then we could eat the whole damn thing instead of throwing away so much meat of the fish
that does not look like the person prepared that properly.
are you still alive? i hear you are only supposed to have paper thin slices.

Yes, I'm still alive. :p
How you cut it doesn't affect its toxicity. As long as you stay the hell away from the liver and the ovaries, which have the highest concentration of toxin, then everything else is good to go. Sliced, raw, boiled, in salad, fried, it's all good.
