Gus Hardin - I Pass

The late Gus Hardin's career was a short one. Only three of her solo singles made the top 40. Sadly, this song wasn't one of them, because it's quite catchy! It reached #43 on the Billboard Country chart in 1984 (RCA 13751).

I was about 8 years old when my parents would come home from the "Beeline Lounge" in Glenpool Oklahoma and I can remember them talking about Ronnie Dunn and Gus Hardin playing there that night!

The last time I saw Gus she was singing this song at Uncle Bentley's. I'm glad I got to meet her before she died! I miss you Gus!

I drove from Fort Worth, Texas to Tulsa Oklahoma back in 1995 just to see and hear this lady sing...got to meet her, spend some time backstage, make pictures together, and attend a dinner party afterwards! I have an autographed T shirt in my closet Gus signed...as well as some record album covers! Loved this gal, she was a great lady! Still play her music today...
