I just bought this and compared it to y wife's Bose portable and by far the Bose is louder and has better bass plus the battery lasts longer on the Bose but the Sony is half the price right now at best buy and for that price I might be willing to overt look its shortcomings and keep it just as a second portable radio for myself since I'm not aloud to use my wife's Bose hahaha!!

@GolferHcp1 I like the sony that I bought over the bose. Look at the rdpx 500. My brother has the bose and it is really nice though. Either is good.

I tried this out and the sound is really clear and has more power and bass than the Logitech s715i. I also like this Logitech.
