Yes, Dr. Tyson. We CAN have a conversation with a chimp. Granted it's not a deep existential conversation on the meaning of life, but we do communicate through sign language. Washoe was one of the first chimps to communicate with humans.

He is a very good speaker, hes basically saying that our intelligence may be nothing compared to whats out there. I wish science and religion would appy that principle to both their theories.

My original statement meant in terms of what I stated. I never stated "humans are the only..." just that humans can build and manipulate their environment to suit their own needs. Equating a beaver's dam to that of a human bomb aren't exactly the same thing. Animals aren't able to manipulate their environment to that of the extent of a human, so my original statement isn't inaccurate.

Lol I made a miatake twards the end of the sentence below. I would also like to add that since we evolved from the same unicellular organisms our DNA would be closely simmilar to other mammals since evolution and genetic mutations happend differently depending on the enviroment

You have to know that the DNA has nothing to do with intelligence it is just the command center of every cell that difference is what differenciates us from apes on a mollecular level
