Reverend Walter E. Fauntroy argues that gay marriage will lead to the end of the human species because people will stop making babies. Also, he states that same-sex marriage will destroy black families by confusing them, and that marriage is not a contract but then says he married heterosexuals who needed the contract.

  • News Flash: Gay Marriage is the only political issue black conservative figureheads have addressed in the last ten years!

Meanwhile, in the African-American community only 31% of all blacks get married, and 70% of all children are born to single unwed-mothers!

Black religious conservatives should be ashamed of themselves; they need to be called out. They need to worry about the pitiful marriage rate -- the state of the family -- in their own damned community. Pride goes before a fall!

  • You betta preach this statement Nee!

What gets me is people who are against Gay righst spew the silliest lines.

"Oh, I'm not against Gays, I'm just Pro Traditional Marriage"

"Oh, We don't hate Homosexuals, we just stand firm on our beliefs".

"We're not discriminating, we're just saving our children"

"I'm not a bigot, I just believe that Gays & Lesbians dont deserve CIVIL RIGHTS"

"Gays & Lesbians already have the right to marry. They can marry someone of the opposite sex"

    LOL!!

  • @voteyesonquestion1 In DC's history, the ability of a black man to vote was presented to the electorate for a vote. The people voted No. What happened to their right to vote on if black men could vote?

  • What he hell happend to the black community?" They used to be so moral, now they are a mess.

  • Since when do people 'vote' on whether or not to grant rights to a minority?

I wonder how that would have played out in the 50's and 60's...lol...letting the racist and sexist majority vote on black and women's rights...

  • @cricketbrn I have no idea either.

  • @neenerpuss Those were my thoughts exactly as he listed those off. I agree with you fully.

  • Pretty much.

What most people fail to realize for a long time is that "traditional marriage" has a 45-50% divorce rate. You wanna protect marriage? Start with that.

  • Yes that was strange. In any case to see a black man who had work with Martin Luther king begging for a right to vote is a disgrace for the Washington DC and America.

We are still slave to an arrogant government class. Shame on them

  • @rainbowschild Watch the first few seconds again (also repeated near 8:45). Married people aren't supposed to "rat on" each other? Wow. Just wow.

  • what the crap is that guy talking about at the end!?!?
