In 2010, after a season filled with long-distance rides, Lou Tortola - inventor of the RoundTail™ - began to rethink the shape of a bicycle frame. Why had the bicycle frame remained nearly unchanged for so long? Tortola broke through
the barriers of the triangle. He believed that a pair of continuous rings beneath the rider would absorb road vibrations without compromising performance or lateral stiffness. Five months later, his vision became a reality.
How does the weight compare to a standard double-diamond frame of the same size and similar material?

@israelmagalit Thanks for your interest... The Triathlon RoundTail bike frame was actually 50 grams lighter than is standard geometry equivalent... ~ this achieved by eliminating the large AERO seat tube all the way down. While other frames are slightly heavier by 100 grams or so... The benefits of the roundTail frame far out-weigh any minor difference in weight... When you ride a RoundTail... the comfort in vertical compliance is certainly felt over long rides..

@israelmagalit .....while a slight weight difference is not... So in essence the weight play has not been a factor. We are working on a Carbon frame that should come in at the light weight of most standard Road Carbon frames...
