AIP's hard to find and out of print BLACK SABBATH (1963), directed by Mario Bava! The American edit of this classic Italian anthology film was re-scored by Les Baxter, the three vignettes were re-sequenced, and different narratives by Boris Karloff were added.
Segment one, The Drop of Water.

I went to the theater and saw this when I was about 6 or 7 with my sister! I HAD TO HAVE THE BATHROOM LIGHT ON FOR YEARS AFTER THIS! ABOUT 1966 OR 67. I think my sister got in trouble for taking me.

You know, when i was a 6 year old kid, my dad showed me this movie. This was my very first horror movie. The part where she was holding the cat in the rocking chair scared me the most, i had ran out of the room! About a month later, I faced my fear & watched it. The point though, back then horror movies didn't have 2 curse or show nudity to scare people. That's the sad thing about 2day's movies. I'm only 19, & I agree that movies should be scary without nudity or at least as much cursing.
