  • @evilr0b I apologize..I was thinking of a completely different song from the movie...Frey and Souther wrote "Last In Love"...my bad..I admit when I'm wrong

  • @minkdaddy25

    no YOU are wrong.

  • @evilr0b Actually, Glenn Frey and J.D. Souther wrote this song...Lauderdale was NO WHERE near this song...so, yes, it is a cover

  • I read one of only a few interviews George Strait has ever done. The recent one was a few years back and he admits that his personal tastes are western swing and old country. His fans (or record company) seem to have more control over his material than he does. George did say that someday he'd like to put together a tour with a western swing band and that he spends a lot of time playing golf.

  • i like georges version better but still good

  • Great song. Jim says he wrote this song with George Jones & Gram Parsons in mind.

  • I identify with this song...

  • great job, awesome cover.

  • Jim, you're a real talent. I used to sing Heaven's Flame in the bars in winnipeg. Enjoy your stuff.
