I have to say this is horrible. It's "wireless" only in that the iPhone can connect to the Global Cache device. Everything else is wired. So you have to have your WIRELESS router next to the devices you want to control. This is almost worthless. The GC itself should be wireless so you can have it near your devices in each room.
This looks like a great remote system! However, I was hoping to save on some hardware if possible. I already have the GC-100-06 but not wanting to spend another $100 for a GC-IRL. Can I use my Philips Pronto TSU7500 to capture the IR code and then transport it into some file somewhere? The code looks like this: 0000 0071 0000 0032 007F 0041 0010 0011. This is just one line, but you get the idea. Thanks
