he still plays it nicely, though.

It sounds a bit fast.

@dzedayos You play it it beautifully! Amazing left hand. Gosh.....
-
@foilseal pied = food (usually barefoot), passe = step or movement. Passepied = footstep, literally. But the comment by dzedayos is more musically correct.

@noizereduction I agree with you:-)

Some notes are wrong, but DAMN I'm trying to play this and I don't have a big enough left hand :/
Also, beautiful setting, too bad it sounds like cheap MIDI. With a gorgeous piano and room like that, I'd invest in a nice condenser mic set and have it always set up, just hit record in Pro Tools and have it tracked beautifully, with natural reverb and all!

Ahh!! The melody should be a major 3rd at :28! Unless you have a different edition, it should be a D and F# according to my Henle.

Beautifuil. I must admit, I prefer this piece played faster like this. I prefer the notes staccato, and it keeps it lively all the way through, but when played slower, i prefer the nuances of tempo especially at the beginning. This version is similar to how I first ever heard it, and fell in love with it. I really love the counterpoints. Tres bien!

The passepied is a fast dance in binary form and triple meter that originated in Brittany.

The audio is quite good on video. Did your music school record this?
