Lenovo showed a prototype of their next generation Android tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich on the 1.5Ghz Dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Krait processor and supporting a keyboard dock that looks similar to the Asus Transformer Prime.

  • Who wants a duel core when.nvidia is shipping a quad?

  • @akompsupport New Dual-cores have higher frequency and similar or better features compared to Nvidia's quad-core, thus the Dual-cores like the OMAP4470 at 1.8Ghz, OMAP4460 1.5Ghz, Qualcomm MSM8960 1.5Ghz, Exynos 4212 1.5Ghz, those likely have a better performance or at least a similar performance in most of Android usage scenarios compared to Nvidia's quad-core.

  • @Charbax TI got that frequency because 28 nm. Cortex-A9 is not something designed for quad core. Bad move NVIDIA. Probably, S4 should match tegra 3 or surpass it and may crush Exynos and TI. if, Qualcomm works on Graphics.

    An unofficial benchmark:

    Adreno 225 achieved a nenamark score of 54.2 at a resolution of 1080*600.

  • But somehow they make UI look like windows 8.....
