Cannabis is only a gateway drug because its illegal, if it was legal we wouldnt have to go to dealers, which is were the threat to buying harder druds come.

if i went and smoked a load of plastic and died, that would be perfectly legal, if i drank a bottle of bleach and died, that would also be legal, hell i could even go and smoke everything in my garden and id probably die, perfectly legally, yet im not allowed to smoke this certain plant, doesnt make sense does it.

Although he did receive a reply, Brown has outdone himself entirely and set a new level for sidestepping questions.
He mentions support for alcohol-related addictions but, unless my hearing is going, I didn't hear the words "tobacco or "cigarettes" mentioned once.

I'm no PM basher, but i have to be honest, ive watched two of these 'ask the PM' videos, and Gordon Brown seems in both instances to have made up his own question! I think its a real positive scheme for Downing Street the impression the responses are giving out is that Mr Brown hasnt bothered to listen to or think about the question asked which will do more harm that good to his reputation.
