On way to War and Peace show

We're finally on our way, Jules up ahead in the Militant followed by Simon, Neil and myself. The lanes are very narrow and yes, we did have someone come the other way. They very nicely waited for us to pass! (Not much choice really) ;-) yeah yeah, one noisy change down on the old crash gearbox! But love the sound of that Rolls Royce Eagle diesel engine.

Our lot had to go on 2 pitches as the one we were supposed to have got shrunk. In our groups we had 3 Scammell Explorers, Mk1 Militant, 3 Landrovers, T54 & T34 tanks, 3 FV432s (one with Rarden gun), Scammell Crusader transporter, and later a Zil and a '41 Dodge truck. Next year we WILL be on one larger pitch. Did you see the Scammell Christmas tree going round on saturday night?
