hahaha so funny, my first laugh of the morning, actually got off my tush and went to tell my son and his dad... the main problem I think you had there was simply the fact that there actually IS no such thing as "THE British accent'' and if you're simultaneously going to go for cockney and upper class London you're in for a hard time! We have SO many dialects! When I moved from the north west to south Wales nobody could understand me so I learned to speak differently.. happened repeatedly.
