Yeah but come on, that was quite a bit of editing and leading from the reporters here. They didn't even play all of his statement, they cut it off before he even got started.

Romney, like most polticians, not guided by principles or a moral compass. He is guided by a thirst for power at all costs. He is at least as dangerous to the Constitution, the nation and even his religion as would be Stalin were he to run for president of the US. I am Mormon and declare that Mormons who support Romney are deaf, dumb and blind sheep.

Does anyone have the rest of the interview? I have not heard back from SethAdamSmith, but I know that he has used his talents to further the testimonies of Prophets...maybe someone has quotes from Romney's grandfather who never wavered in saying that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

You are absolutely right. He is cut from the same cloth as Mike Leavitt and Smilin' Jon Huntsman.
Romney has had numerous opportunities to answer these leading, assinine questions by quoting the Articles of Faith, but he's such a consumate politician that he just says what he thinks will disarm the interviewer, or he simply doesn't even know what the Articles of Faith are. In this case, all he had to do was quote the Twelfth Article of Faith. If we believe in being subject to political authority and sustaining the law, why would God tell the prophet to violate the law?

Great answer, but LDS allegiance to the constitution goes deeper.
"It is part of my faith that the Lord established the constitution. As George Albert Smith said 'to me the Constitution of the United States of America is just as much from my Heavenly Father as the Ten Commandments'. Violating my oath of office and duties as President would violate my faith in God".

Thanks. If that quote is from Romney, then he's an even bigger hypocrite. I'm LDS, but I don't trust Romney one whit. He has no idea what it means to restrict the federal government to Constitutional limits. The passing of the Sixteenth Amendment is what gave the federal government the money to go monster hunting around the world, and it hasn't looked back since. Ron Paul is our last hope to save this country. The Constitution will not be saved by the likes of Mitt Romney. Regards.

That quote is not from Romney, but is what he should have said, if he respected the Constitution and what his church leaders have taught.
Apparently, he respects neither.

I agree Rex: But Paul is not electable, so we are really screwed. Romney gave up the tenets when he started firing people to further his business and wealth. Religion and politics do not mix and when you do mix them...you will lose every time.

Explain what you mean by "Ron Paul is not electable".
Do you mean he doesn't have the support or do you mean even with the support "they" won't let him win?
