interesting vid..like the animation but i feel like just because we have more access to information/ideas from other people doesn't necessarily make us more creative...our communication is flawed, it is based in the internet now and having an in-person conversation is more of a setting for true communication and fully formed ideas...i dunno if our generation or the next is very creative...they create based on whats there already not on the possibilities of what could be..just my thoughts on that

Mass Innovation may only lead to the continuation of Mass Production which is fundamentally the main problem with consumerism and the enormous waste we are seeing on a global scale!

This is exactly what - I believe - is going to happen. There is mass of information out there - in the web - and there is a new generation of kids who are just about to pick out pieces of information for personal use and share it with other - YOUTUBE - You are just within one of an example - right now! We share ideas and we are as such creative. The new generation of kids today are the makers of the tomorrow and they abhor to pay for it. Contenmorary organizations are outdated!

You have to distinguish between information and knowledge. Yes, information is and will be more freely and readily available. But the question is what will you do with it?

Very interesting and a clear explaination of the major issues. As someone who has invested thousands of dollars to educate myself as a visual artist, I worry about how to earn a living when theft of creative ideas happens all the time. People expect me to share everything for free and I don't even get comments for sharing. It sometimes feels like a lonley web. All giving and no earning.

"How do you make a living when everyone is freely sharing their ideas?" We all share everything, then there won't be any need to make a living. Isn't this just Communism? The farmer's food is for everyone, the architect's homes for everyone, the teacher's knowledge for everyone. That's what Communism is, right?
