While at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, the NVR-E-NUF Gang and Friends had a chance to run with several different types of cars from the area.... One of the pleasures in the Porsche Club DE's is that you can run with many makes and models.
Here, I am running to catch a Cobra and Lotus from the area. The Cobra well done model of the impressive orginal. Very clean car overall. The Lotus was a pretty fast car and had a strong power to weight ratio.
It took a few laps to get my 1996 993 C-2 past the Lotus, and if we stayed in the "drag race" in the straights, it would have been touch and go. Fortunate that the Porsche has such strong cornering capability.....
It was a Pleasure to run with the Alabama Boys.... And the Eight of us making the trip from Texas/Kansas all said we would do it again.
About my Car: It is a 96 993 C-2 with stock 3.6 naturally asperated motor. The suspension has been upgraded to RS or GT specs. It is running on Hoosiers. Car wight is about 2900 pounds (250lbs below factory).
