First test with my Rebel T1i.

I shot this video in 720p30 using only available light and without any stabilizers or tripods. Nothing was staged or planned, just like your uncle would do with this camera. I used a Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 and a 30mm 1.4. I color corrected the video, so yes, it is not the original colors (it's an addiction I have...).

I am planning on shooting a few other videos with the T1i, but this time using a tripod, a Glidecam and a ModoSteady. Stay tuned!

    How did you achieve these rounded black corners? Is it Sony Vegas?

  • Thanks! I used an oval mask and curves in After Effects.

  • is there a lens that this doesn't have depth of field and can focus by itself?
