READ, READ, READ. A strong liberal arts background in fields of psychology, sociology, history, business, philosophy, physiology, etc. will help minimize these emotional tendencies.

It is discouraging for someone who is 72,as am I, that Edward Bernays is still largely an unknown influence. His wretched ideas have been in use since WWI. If there is one single person who has perverted democracy by appealing to the vulnerable part of human beings he is the fellow. Of course he is adored by politicians because his ideas get them elected, he is adored by large corporations because his ideas sell their mediocre goods. Read his works and judge for yourselves.

Ever read PROPAGANDA by Edward Bernays? That's exactly what's going on. Tell-lie-vision brainwashing, programing the masses. And it works obviously.

I agree totally, but when our Prime Minister has been to Bilderberg Group meetings, they set his agenda. So let's shut down secret closed door meetings of politicians, royalty and CEOs. They're against the Logan Act anyways. Who watches these people. The CIA, MI5, MI6, Mossad, etc are all around them, but no one enforces the Logan Act. Sad what we've become.

Again, they key is to take power away from politicians. No CEO is going to pay a politician money if the politician has no power to do anything or them.

I agree with you, but that's not how it is. Do you know about the Bilderberg Group? Who they are? They go against the Logan Act, but who's disciplining them? No one. How does the CEO of Merill Lynch tell Ronald Reagan to hurry up a speech? That's how long this has been going on. If I was lobbying for Obama and gave him millions of dollars, wouldn't he want more next time and do what I asked him too? How can we not expect what's going on? Obama works for Wall Street, not Main St.

ah...how the subtleties escape the weak. Gov can force you to do something, corporations can't. So the elephant in the room is to make governments less powerful so corporations can't control them. And that takes a very minimal of critical thinking. So lets say you need less of group think. shall we? lets.

I'm really getting sick and tired of hearing about us being a democracy. We should be a republic, not a democracy. What if 51% agreed with Hitler, mob rules. Come on wake up people.
