@chrispollock I think lyrics like one from this song; "the truth is where the sculptors chisel chipped away the lies" probably contributed to their sucess.

Once again, Flans rocks the cardigan.

WHOOH LENO WITH HAIR!!!!

Very artsy song... doesn't get more lyrically artistic than this. I think it's about artist-art symbiosis.
Ah, getting lost/devoured by art... what more can one ask for?

jefetters is correct. Early CDs had to be displayed in the same bins as vinyl LPs, which were still the main way we bought our music back then. The boxes were 12 inches tall to keep them from being hidden behind the 12-inch LPs in the next row, because record stores were reluctant to retro-fit their displays for this new technology. CDs that did not have a printed longbox were put in a plastic holder to make them sit higher in the display, too.

Oh man, I never realized that was Kurt and JD!
-
No sarcasm friend, look it up. CD's came in longboxes originally.
-
I picked up the sarcasm. Every cassette I ever owned was in the plastic cases, not the cardboard longboxes.

I want a copy of Apollo 18 with that awesome longbox on it.
