NASA Launch Complex 40 Demolition - 04/27/2008

This was my piece on the demolition of the Mobile Service Tower at Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, near the Kennedy Space Center, by the U.S. Air Force's 45th Space Wing. NASA and the Air Force used the MST for many Titan launches over the years, including many military satellites and the Cassini planetary probe to Saturn. There are interviews with demolition project manager Kevin Hooper, NASA spokesman George Diller, and Captain Amber Millerchip, public affairs officer for the 45th Space Wing.
