@carloscarrenov Hi, I have a friend that was going to put plexiglass in the rear window. I was going to make it look a little NASCARish. I can't seem to finish any car that I start building because like most builds someone saw it and had to have it. Now I have something else that is cool. Stay tuned for another video.

What's the idea and purpose behind narrowing the front axle? Just curious, I've heard so many people doing this.
GofCis 10 months ago
@GofCis Narrowing the front axle of a VW allows the driver to tuck tall front wheels and tires, of the car, deeper into the wheel wells and also drop the front end for a lower stance so the steer tires don't rub. This also allows the driver to run wider front tires while keeping the tires from sitting out side the fenders. My VW took this to the extreme. The tires are close to 12 inches across on the tread.

where can you drive this? are you gonna mak it street legal?
Cowboydjrobot 1 year ago
@Cowboydjrobot This car is plated for the street. It is one of four that I have and will be headed for the car shows when finished. The motor is running and drivable. I can not show any more of the rat rod until after it's first show. I don't want a bunch of copy cats out there. Stay tuned that time is coming.
