  • Awesome!

  • Those uncut Premiere flicks sure were hit and miss, but it was almost like Roadshow's "Palace Explosive" label of the mid to late 80s.

Some of Troma's other films made their way uncut on the label, such as 'Igor and the Lunatics' and 'Girl School Screamers'. 'The Video Dead' and 'Brain Damage' were uncut. Strange that they put 'Phantasm 2' on the Applause label.

  • is this a good movie? it looks like a good 80's slaher , ust wanted 2 know b4 i buy it lol

  • I'm gonna have to look this one up, hadn't heard of it before. Thanks for posting the trailer.

  • This trailer really sets the tone for the pure dumb and quickly paced good times ahead. Glad you all enjoyed it!

I have the film on a cheap '90s release from Video Treasures recorded in LP. Would love to have the Media Entertainment version.

By the way, for anyone interested, I got the trailer from a Japanese VHS for STRIKE COMMANDO.

  • Yes. Showing my age here, but I actually remember that Brain Damage caused some controversy here at the time of its release. There were the usual dumb conservatives upset about it being uncut. But in reply, the classification board felt that the film's violence occurred within the context of the character's 'hallucinogenic' experiences, thus diminishing the impact of the violence.

  • This was a Roadshow release in Australia, on the Premiere label. Strange that CIC didn't release it here.

  • Wow amazing little rarity there!
