@watashiwanachodes I don't think it's exactly random. Thurston said he was at his house and his brother just tuned his guitar on a certaine tuning and left it there and he picked it up and managed to write six or seven good songe on it. It's just like everything else. I'm sure all sorts of things happen.

i wonder how... these guys got all those alternate tunnings so under control?? I have been foolin around with tunnings for years now but i have never felt as comfortable as i fell with the 3-4 most basic tunnings.
Listening to em Its like looking at scientists inventing nanotechnology.. its without precedents the way they make tunes

Fantastic and pretty close to the actual track laid down on the album. The poster, pigeonkill, states that the entire Murray Street album was rehearsed at SY's Echo canyon Studio in Manhattan. Is there any other footage available from these sessions? if so, PLEASE share!!! Thanks!
