This is a piece of music which I wrote in dedication to the magical Minehaha park and falls in Minnesota. I try in this piece to recreate the experience of cautiously climbing up and experiencing this natural wonder.
The first section represents tense weary footsteps as you slowly make your way up to the sheet of ice. The second section represents the sound of dripping water which surrounds you at all times. The third section attempts to capture the awe as you stand behind the gigantic glowing blue wall of ice. The piece as a whole is meant to sound isolated, cold, and tense.

  • Wow dude you're moving up and doing performances?! Dang your moving up. Very emotional and delicate piece of music you have created.

Was this some sort of term project in college?

  • @ZHX1138 Thanks a lot, man! Yeah, this was the final project for my Composition III class. There have been a few other performances but I never felt very good about the piece I wrote before. With this song, I finally had the confidence to upload. thanks for listening!
