actually squirtle is good 4 the 1st 2 gyms cuz it resists water pulse and it learns bite since starmie and staryu are part phsychic bite is super effective

so i fought my team would be the same as my leaf green but theres diffrent pokemon on this game i have a ivysaur nidoking alakzam richu snorlax and growlithe
