  • what size should i use for a canon 1000d?

  • @cookiepwnsU

Your camera is a 1.6x crop factor so "Type 2" is the correct swab size for you.

  • So what size for Olympus, 4/3 ratio, 2X?

  • You use a Type 2 swab on your camera.

  • im a newbie and i thought that paint brush is good to clean the sensor and resulted are smears and streaks on the ito coating, my question is, is this method will remove the smears cause by the paint brush?

  • Yes provided you didn't damage it.

  • Wow! I can now swab my sensor while riding a bike.

  • This video makes it all easier to understand.

I just did my first cleaning with a breeze. After the fact, on the swab itself that I used I could see specs of the dust it removed!
