Can anyone explain the diffrence or should i say pros and cons from 1/8 nitro engine/truck vs 1/5 scale gas truck? Tuning? durability? I have 1/8 & 1/10 trucks, 1/8 buggy aswell as a couple of brushless ones. I like brushless because of power/ and plug n play but if the nitro were easier to keep running i would vote

Just make sure you run it in for the first tank of fuel. That means don't race the engine too long at high revs till it's gone through one tank.

Can you make a good run-in with a single tankfull? I doubt that.. Is there a site where you could get sparkplugs for this car?

Well.. its all a matter opinion really, but a simple little engine like this should be good to run in on just one tank. that's 45-60min running time.
Any you can get a sparkplug from any hardware store. Its the same plug as your lawn mower!! :)

hey there guys
very nice vid, I have 2 nitro rc and ive always wanted a petrol rc truck. Ive had a look around and they retail for like 700 pounds and more, these ones go for just under 400. Is this model any good, does it use cheaper parts compared to other models. just need some idea of what to expect.
any other useful info before I go and splash out would be useful
cheers

Hey bud. This is actually almost an exact replica of the Smartech Buggy and Monster truck chassis. Pretty much all the parts are interchangeable, but the OEM parts are much cheaper. I personally think that the Smartech is a bit overpriced. Though this is car's can't handle as much punishment, I haven't found it to breakdown in any way other than a crash into a tree. I really think its better value for money, though not as sturdy.
