"Uhgh, I hate Mondays!" Selena groaned opening her locker and stuffing her backpack in it.
"Uhgh! Me too" Demi mumbled, banging on her locker. "Uhgh! Stupid locker!!!"
"Here lemme try..." Selena banged on Demi's locker and heard a few things fall off the door. She pulled up on the trigger and pried open Demi's locker.
Demi sighed, "Thanks." She fixed the magnets that fell down and stuffed her jacket in her locker.
"Hey!" a voice squealed behind Demi.
Demi's head perked up and turned around. "Candie?"
"Yea! I go here now! Isn't that great?!" Candie exclaimed.
"Yea!" Demi answered.
"I was a little nervous when my mom told me last night. And she was like 'oh you'll be fine Candie... you'll make lots of new friends..." and I was like 'Mom, why do we have to now right in the middle of the year?'"
"Candie?" Demi spoke.
"and she was like this school is better, better curriculum and teachers..." and I said 'oh fine' and I stormed off into my room. Well then tomorrow came, which would be today..."
"Candie?" Selena tried.
"and I saw you and then I wasn't so scared!!! Oh my gosh, what do you have first?" Candie ranted.
"Candie! OK as a mammal, it is required of us to breathe every few words OK? So let's calm down a little because its only 7:30 in the morning... and you know I'm not really a morning person..." Demi spoke gently as she laid her hands on Candie's shoulders as a motion to calm down.
"Oh, sorry... I was so nervous, I accidentally grabbed my brother's cereal and I didn't know until I was done with my helping..."
"So?" Selena asked not comprehending the connection between the sugar rush and the cereal mistake.
"Well Selena, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a few years ago, so certain foods that I eat, have to have less sugar in them than usual. I accidentally grabbed my brothers fully loaded sugar Cocoa Puffs, instead of grabbing the 50% less sugar box, which is mine. Yeah, you have to be careful about that because they taste the same..." Candie explained finally calming down.
"Oh, I see..." Selena said nodding her head.
"Hey Demi..." Joe smiled as he hugged and kissed her on the cheek.
"Hi Joey. Hey you know Candie, right?"
"Uh yeah, I met you at the party, Friday... Nice to see you again," Joe gently shook Candies hand.
"Like wise." Candie smiled.
"So Demi, I was wondering if you would like to go out tonight..." Joe asked.
"I'd love to. I'll meet you by the flag pole at 2:30."
"Kay see you later."
"Well I got to get to class.. I'll see you at lunch Kay?" Selena waved.
"Kay." Demi smiled. "Come on I'll walk you to your class Candie."

"Hey Selena..." a boy called after her.
Selena stopped and turned around. "Hello?"
He Smiled.
"Wait, I know you..." Selena narrowed her eyes. "You're that boy. Nate right? Yeah you we're at my party... well me and my siblings birthday party..."
"Yeah..." Nate smiled.
"Wait a second... how did you know about the party? And how do you know me... this is the first time I've ever seen you in school."
"Huh, what can I say," Nate chuckled. "I'll see you later..." Nate ran off to his class down the hall leaving Selena very confused.

"Hey," Candie said sitting next to Demi.
"So, how's your first day?" Demi squealed, nudging her a little.
"Well, actually it's going great. I have all honors classes and a special study hall to help me with my school work."
"Oh really what kind of a class?"
"Oh, you know how I'm dyslexic? Well that study hall is for dyslexic students, I love it. I get help with anything I don't understand and we take everything nice and slow, and I actually unstressed the curriculum! Wow, my mom wasnt kidding when she said this school would be better for me... did you know I was an almost failing student at me old school?" Candie whispered the last part.
"You were?" She whispered back. "Well, whatever, its good you're in a good curriculum..."
"Yeah.." Candie answered digging into her salad.
"Hey guys!" Selena said, setting down her purse on the table.
A boy swiftly past Selena and tapped her on the shoulder. Selena looked and she saw the back of Nate walking away from her. "Um... I'll be back in a few, I forgot to do something..." Selena murmured.

ha! candie u make me luagh! i rant on and on daily!! yesterday it was about i book i wanted, and i still dont have tht book so i'll be complaining again... Yea.. so i've only written a little bit i dont even know whats gonna happen with Jemi and Nelena... i honestly dont.. but it's nice to think about it

OMG!! iluved it!! it was totally worth the wait!! you go my character so right!! i luved how i would just rant on and on. i think joe is going to take demi on some kind of date, and nate the same with selena, but thats just me!! haha!
