Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance Shang Tsung's Ending.

First Picture:

The Deadly Alliance was successful in reviving the mummified remains of the Dragon King's undefeatable army. Shang Tsung, however, began to realize that his relevance in the partnership had evaporated once his talents for soul transplantation were no longer needed. The balance of power within the Deadly Alliance had seemingly been undone. Fearing betrayal, he secretly instructed Kano to steal Quan Chi's amulet in an attempt to gain control of the army. Since part of the soul-transfer spell included the command to obey 'He who possesses the amulet,' the army would obey only Shang Tsung, and not Quan Chi, once the amulet was in his possession.

Second Picture:

Amulet in hand, Shang Tsung revealed his betrayal to Quan Chi and commanded the army to destroy the sorcerer. Shang Tsung would succeed where others had failed. He would conquer the realms. He would conquer Earth.

  • what's so great about earth? why conquer it?

  • Ever since the Mortal Kombat one, Shao Kahn wants to merge both earthrealm and outworld. Now that he dead (not dead, the clone one they killed) Shang Tsung can rule earthrealm with the Dragon King's army. He wanted to rule earthrealm ever since MK3.

  • Which is the real ending which leads to Deception? With Raiden's warriors dieing?

  • @gundamWWW Yes.

  • When I First Saw This I Was Like Damn Shang Tsung Was Green Is F*ck For That But Hell That's How He Is He Want To Rule All

  • okay i can answer this, no one won the deadly alliance tournament, as you can see in deception you can see all the bodies of the failed attempts to stop them, since all of earths warriors had failed, Raiden had to step in if not there would be destruction, bla bla bla yet some of the characters endings did happen like subzeros where their small side stories intertwine but dont affect the outcome of the tournament

  • " Shang Tsung would succeed where others had failed. He would conquer the realms. He would conquer earth" those lines are some of the most just plain badass lines i have ever heard ever

  • @gundamWWW None of the endings sets the frame of Deception. But Quan Chi wins. First they beat Raiden, then they fight each other, and Quan Chi beats Shang Tsung. That is the way I see it.

  • Ok, everyone is giving me really short answers and they are really vague. Could someone please help?

My question is, at the end of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, which character's ending sets the framework for the start of the Deception? At the start of deception you see Raiden fighting a 2 on 1 battle. How did this come to be? Who won the previous tournament in Deadly alliance?

Could someone explain it to me or does no one know what really happened.

    Thank You

  • @gundamWWW in a way none of them

  • I mean which Character's ending is that? Shang Tsung? Quan- Chi? Someone else?

  • nope i think quan chi would win
