Space Oddity (short Blender 3D film)

Blender short space film. Done, 3 months later, thanks to it i've learned a lot with Blender. Not perfect but ready for more.
Made with blender 2.49b and 2.5, After Effects.
Sounds come from universal-soundbank.com, songs from musopen.org (free public domain classical music). Textures come from cgtextures.com.

PUTAIN COMMENT ILS SONT GENIAUX LES GRAPHISMES!! Je suis moi-même un adepte de blender (encore débutant :P) et j’espère que j'arriverais a faire des trucs aussi cools!! =) J'ai trop adoré l'explosion!! Pendant combien de temps as-tu "joué" avec le logiciel avant de pouvoir commencer a créer un truc pareil?

@apollonscorpion J'ai commencé ce projet ~ deux mois après avoir commencé Blender. Je me suis quasiment directement lancé dedans, après quelques éssais avec le super bouquin "La 3D libre avec Blender" (dépassé maitenant, il concerne pas 2.5, sauf si nouvelle édition), pendant 3 mois intensifs. Concernant le "chiant" l'excuse c'est qu'au début ça devait être très différent, plus dynamique et tout, mais comme je savais pas vraiment m'y prendre, j'ai fait plus lent mais "soigné", pour compensé.

@Rekedens This one was made with After Effects but I managed to do something similar with Blender. I added a new video on my channel : "Blender 2.5 noisy cam effect" to use with any video or image you want, with a download link to the blend file to check it by yourself ;).

I hope you were talking about the noisy cam effect o_°

The first scene you see the hands, it's a real footage, then it's 3D. how and why : At first I wanted to do the whole animation with real hands and stuff (you record with a green screen behind and do some compositing), but this is the best I could get with my actual sd camcorder, other tries were really messy, so I went CG. btw thanks a lot :)
