I admire the fact that a presidential candidate is open and honest about past indiscretions for a variety of reasons. First, and foremost, it allows one to see the human side of his character. He is flawed and imperfect like the rest of mankind and not afraid to admit it. If he is candid about past drug use then we can expect nothing but forthrightness from him on every issue.

It is inspiring to see that a man who once wandered down the wrong path is capable of not only finding the right path, but finding a path that may lead him to be the President of the United States of America. Mistakes should not define a person; learning from the mistake and persevering in life is the definition of the American Dream!!!
