Maiden Love Part 17

It has been a few hours and it was getting late, the sun started to disappear behind the trees , we already left the first village.

Suddenly we stopped and the king jump off of the horse *we are going to sleep here tonight* I nodded as I jumped off of the horse. *Im going to find something to do a fire* *I can do it your majesty, Im more comfortable in the woods than the castle* he nodded *fine with me*

After a few minutes I came back and made a fire, the king was sitting there watching it. *why did you bring me in this trip ?* I asked, he looked at me and stood silent *is something wrong you majesty ?*

He shook his head and looked back at the fire *nothing, its just I never noticed how beautiful you were* I blushed and looked down *t-thank you* he chuckled *that explain why you never wanted to look at me, you were hiding your face, I guess you didnt want me to make you one of my favorites*

*yeah* *whats your name again ?* *Demitria your majesty* Demitria huh ? beautiful and unique* I blushed again, why is so nice ? *t-thank you your majesty* *call me by my name, people cant know that Im the king* I nodded *but there is a problem* he looked at me *what is it ?* *I dont know your name*

He started laughing *Im sorry I thought you knew it since everyone does, I forgot you werent from my kingdom* he smiled at me *my name is Joseph*

Joseph ? huh ? no such bad name for an idiot.

*may I ask you a question your m-Joseph ?*

He nodded *why did you want to go to Grandwood*

*you said you that being a king made me think that everyone I didnt know was a spy, so I had to see if you were saying the truth and for me it was the on way*

I nodded *I agree, but arent you scared ? what if Im really a spy ?*

He chuckled *honestly I thought about it, and I thought that a spy wouldnt be as clumsy as you are*

I frowned *Im not that clumsy*

It made him chuckle again *believe me you are*

I sighed *may I ask you another question ?* he nodded again

*why are you so different ? I mean you dont act like the king I see everyday*

He looked at the fire *not my fault, as a king I have to strict and rude, a king isnt supposed to be nice with the maids* he looked back at *what about you ?*
