  • Most drummers these days do not play tunes, we seem to be forgetting that drums are a musical instrument. Here is clear evidence of Roger playing a fantastic tune that fits with the song when it comes back in. He has fantistic style behind his faboulously oversized drum kit. He has great ideas which he puts forward so spectacularly. This is a wonderfull drum solo. Also keep yourself alive and liar are great songs!! they're debut album is one of the most underrated hard rock debut albums ever.

  • Roger knows that a good drum solo has you drumming along in your head. None of the present-day drummer ultra-fast noise or "random-sounding" silliness. Queen has the art of rock and roll intelligently perfected.
