Celebrity nanny and parenting expert, Jo Frost, was in L.A. recently to spread the word about the importance of staying active and being healthy. Her visit was part of EIB Active, a national campaign started in 2010 to raise awareness about exercise-induced bronchospasm, or E-I-B, a breathing condition affecting nine out of ten children and adults living with asthma, and an estimated 30 million people in the United States. An estimated 4.9 million Californians are currently living with asthma, including one in six children under the age of 18. As part of the event, children and their families had the chance to get screened for asthma and EIB through the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America's (AAFA) Breathmobile®.
