In sports, it is rare to see a performance that will stay with you forever. It was one of those performances

What LeBron James did that night ranks up there with the best we have and will ever see. Before last night, I felt Magic Johnson's championship clincher against the Sixers was the most impressive performance because of the stage and where he was in his career.

LeBron's performance is the seventh-best individual playoff performance of all time.

48 points in a crucial game 5 James scored 29 of Cleveland's last 30 points, including the team's final 25 points in a double-overtime victory.

Marv Albert referred to James's performance as "one of the greatest moments in postseason history,"

One man, no pippen, no rodman. A bunch of scrubs, 48 pts and 29 off the 30 in the last corner to a team that was far superior on paper. It's not Jordan-esque. It's LeBron.

LeBron had 48/ 9/ 7. Playing a championship experienced team, that on paper are obviously better than Cavs, I say on paper because if they were actually better they would have won. Close game. LeBron scores 25 straight for Cavs and 29 of last 30 and carries them to the win vs Billups a Finals MVP and top 3 PG at the time, Prince one of the best defenders in the game guarding LeBron, Webber, Wallace a great defender and so on Hamilton great shooter, scorer and mad endurance. Top 10 performance.

dude the spurs swept almost every team that year in the playoffs, dont tell me that lebrons team was descent it was a bit less then descent. larry huges, daniel gibson, varejao, igluaskas, drew gooden. with this lineup u would never reach the playoffs even in that eastern conference

Lebron played in the east bro with a decent team, Kobe played in the west. Do you think Cleveland could have beaten the Sun in the 1st round. The Spurs swept Cleveland that year, a western team.

Honestly the Cavs were far better than those Laker teams and built around LeBron, not to mention in the first round the Lakers were playing some of the best competition in the west in the Phoenix Suns. Best this is a performance I will always remember from Lebron.

LeBron James went 11 for 14 - 2-2 3P in the 4Q and OT! 5-6 FT and performed the best closing performance of this generation and maybe/ probably EVER! THE PISTONS kept coming back, whilst JAMES single handedly retaliated and BEAT THEM!!

they didnt had wallace but instead they had mcdyess and webber. and this pistons team was better defensivly, however not offensivly. the 80"s pistons wherent even top 3 defensive teams back then. and this was the weakest ECF ever but still 25 straight and 29 out the last 30 with a game winner in dubble overtime against the 2nd best defensive team in the league is just ridicilous. if he scored like 15 straight with a gamewinner wouldve been ridicilous but 25 straight and 29 out the last 30 isjust
