i LOVE this symphony!!!! it was played amazingly. absolutely AMAZING salonen is so brilliant too, he knows what hes doing. i think the tempo is fine!! i agree with lapajarera. its meant to be a bit of a playful peice in parts and otherwise it would not be expressed, it keeps the listener awake and excited about whats going to happen next, it could be played slower in some parts though. all i can say is fantastic job.
This makes me think of being in a forest with gnomes all around and fairies in the air with light coming in through the tress, like the Shire from Lord of the Rings
