Yes but each day the sun gets up and goes down at different locations, also at the same spot and at the same time it will at a different location in the sky. That is why two axis solar tracker is so useful.

  • WHAT I LIKE BEST ABOUT THIS SI THAT IT CAN BE USED WITH A TIMER AND NOT A HELIO TRACKER WHICH GOES WIERD WITH CLOUDS AND OTHER STUFF ANYWAY AND COST WAY TOO MUCH. JUST AN ELECTIC CLOCK WITH ITS USUAL SYSTEM OF REDUCTION GEARS GIVES BOTH THE MECHANICAL POWER AND THE TIMED POSITION WITHIDAILY OR SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT FOR SOLAR LATTITUDE. THIS MOUNTING SYSTEM LOOKS REALLY PROMISING FOR THE LESS EXPENSIVE CLOCK POWER TRACKER YOU JUST TOOK ALOT OF THE COST OUT OF SOAR WITH THIS ESIER BETTER MOUNT

  • looks like good animation, however I saw nothing to show real mechanics and no explanation as to its tech side to make it actualy work. It would sure look like it was doing something on a syfy show though.

  • great idea. now if only the wig heads implemented this technology for the better of America and it's economy.
