Sambalouco performance group is a multicultural collective of drummers and dancers who play the irresistible music of the Brazilian carnival. Playing the traditional percussion instruments of the famous Rio and Bahian blocos. Sambalouco plays a repertoire that ranges from world famous Carnival Samba to the Caribbean inflected samba-reggae; to the folkloric Afro-Bahian Afoxe to the more contemporary sounds of Funk, Hip hop and Dancehall.

We have provided the excitement of carnival to a number of events including the Sydney Mardi Gras, Earthdance, South American Festival, Ritmo Brazilian Festival, to a number of smaller Weddings Fundraisers and Parties. Our performance in - full colour - is guaranteed to raise the roof, get the hips moving and raise the energy to get any party started.
