Silva Mind Control History

Silva began developing the method; formerly known as Silva Mind Control, in the 1940s before launching it commercially in the 1960s.[1][2]. It developed out of Silva's conviction that the thoughts and actions of 90% of the world's population were governed by the the left hemisphere of their brain; limiting them using only logical, intellectual, objective means of problem resolution. Silva believed that by training people to think with both the right brain hemisphere as well as their left they could access information stored at a subconscious level. [1][2] According to Skeptical author Robert Carroll, the Silva method appears to be based on the work of Roger Wolcott Sperry, but with Silva's own twists in it that make it an inaccurate model. [1]

funny how i was an athiest then i did silva and now i am not..hhhmmmmm.. they are trying to say that it is against god yet it brought me to him....god forgive stupid people they know not what they do

Hunt talks about Silva not solving the human problems. We have had Christianity for 2000 years and that hasn't solved basic human problems - not even the problems of Christianity's most fervent supporters.

If the modern-day Bible was the words of God or even of Jesus, I would agree 100% with everyone on here. But, the fact is, it is not. I wish people would think about it a little bit. Then the Hebrews put their spin on it: "My God is a jealous God," come on, now, does that really sound like something Jesus would have really said?

@Secretknowledge75 But even the Blood of Jesus doesn't stop those folks who claimed to be Christian's from sinning. Christians have made up all sorts of excuses for this fact - but it stands true. Being a recipient of salvation from Jesus Christ doesn't stop one from sinning. What Christian wants to dispute that? Christianity has a spotty record even as it seeks to delegitimize other forms of human endeavor. This is why Christians have to continue to blame the Devil because they still sin

opinion is opnion and subjectable. her is another subjectable issue read1 timothy 4.14-15 it says to meditate depending on who wrote your bible i have 2 bibles one says mediat4e and the other says somethign about laying elders' hands on you or something like that. so is meditation bad if some bibles say to DO it?

@prettyparadoxal I am sincerely doubting Silva Mind Control and psychism is the way for me. I graduated in 1989 from Silva Basic Lecture Series in Los Angeles. I made more money and solved a lot of problems, both mine and other peoples'.

Funny how we are moving in opposite directions.

who cares about Christianity? They used to say the earth is the centre of the universe, and the world is flat.
